Terms and Conditions
1. Platform Role & Scope
- RideLoop is a technology platform facilitating peer-to-peer access between bike owners (“Hosts”) and verified users (“Riders”)
- RideLoop provides:
- digital vehicle listings
- booking system
- identity verification
- payment processing
- RideLoop does not own, operate, manage, or control any vehicle
- RideLoop is not a transport service, rental service, or fleet operator
- All bike usage agreements are directly between the Host and Rider

2. Eligibility
Riders must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Hold a valid two-wheeler driving licence
- Complete KYC verification
- Accept all RideLoop policies
Hosts must:
- Be the legal owner of the bike or have legal authority
- Upload valid documents:
- RC
- Insurance
- PUC (if applicable)
- Ensure the bike is roadworthy
3. Bike Condition & Handover
- Hosts confirm that the bike is:
- Mechanically fit
- Road-legal
- Free from known defects
- Riders accept the bike “as-is” at the time of pickup
- Any pre-existing damage must be documented before ride start
4. Usage Rules (VERY IMPORTANT)
Riders agree to:
- Use the bike only for personal purposes
- Follow all traffic laws
- Wear helmets where required
Riders must NOT:
- Sub-lend or transfer the bike
- Use for racing, stunts, or illegal activities
- Use for delivery or ride-hailing services
- Ride under alcohol or drugs
Violation may result in:
- ride termination
- penalties
- account suspension
5. Duration & Extensions
- Usage is valid only for the booked time period
- Late returns may result in:
- additional charges
- penalties
- Unauthorized extensions are not permitted
6. Payment & Platform Fee
- All payments must be made through the RideLoop platform
- RideLoop charges a platform service fee (commission) for facilitating transactions
- Hosts receive payouts after ride completion, subject to deductions where applicable
7. Security Deposit (if applicable)
- RideLoop may collect a refundable security deposit from riders
- Deductions may apply for:
- damage
- late return
- rule violations
- RideLoop’s decision regarding deductions shall be final after review
8. Fuel Policy
- Fuel must be returned at the same level as pickup
- Fuel costs are borne by the Rider, unless otherwise agreed
9. Damage, Loss & Repairs
- Riders are responsible for:
- any damage during usage
- theft or total loss caused by negligence
- Normal wear and tear is excluded
- Repair costs may be recovered through:
- deposit deduction
- rider payment
- insurance claim where applicable
10. Accidents & Incidents
In case of accident, Riders must immediately:
- inform authorities if required
- notify RideLoop support
- cooperate with insurance investigations
- RideLoop is not liable for personal injury or third-party claims
11. Insurance
- All vehicles listed must maintain valid motor insurance as required by law
- RideLoop does not provide insurance coverage
- Insurance claims are governed by the vehicle owner’s insurance provider
- Optional platform protection programs may be available
12. Traffic Violations & Fines
- Riders are solely responsible for:
- traffic challans
- parking fines
- legal penalties
- All fines incurred during the booking period must be paid by the rider
13. Prohibited Use
Strictly prohibited:
- illegal activities
- riding under alcohol or drugs
- carrying illegal goods
- tampering with tracking systems
Violations may result in:
- permanent account ban
- legal action
- loss of deposit
14. Account Suspension or Termination
- RideLoop may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- fraud
- policy violations
- unsafe behavior
- false information
- Termination does not waive payment obligations
15. Limitation of Liability
- RideLoop shall not be liable for:
- vehicle mechanical failures
- accidents
- injuries
- property damage
- theft
- Maximum liability of RideLoop (if applicable) is limited to the platform service fee paid
16. Indemnity
- Users agree to indemnify and hold RideLoop harmless against:
- claims
- damages
- legal costs
- third-party liabilities
- arising from misuse of the platform
17. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should first be resolved through RideLoop internal support
- If unresolved, disputes are subject to:
- arbitration under Indian law
- jurisdiction of Bangalore courts
18. Data & Privacy
- User data is processed according to the RideLoop Privacy Policy
- Ride data may be shared with law enforcement authorities when legally required
19. Force Majeure
- RideLoop is not liable for service disruptions caused by:
- natural disasters
- government actions
- network outages
- events beyond reasonable control
20. Acceptance of Terms
- Using RideLoop implies full acceptance of these Terms
- RideLoop may update policies periodically
- Continued use indicates acceptance of updated terms
21. Independent User Relationship (Critical Legal Protection)
- Hosts and Riders using the RideLoop platform act as independent users
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted to create:
- an employer–employee relationship
- a partnership
- a joint venture
- an agency relationship
- between RideLoop and its users
- Hosts and Riders operate independently and at their own discretion
- RideLoop acts solely as a technology intermediary connecting users
- RideLoop does not supervise, direct, or control the activities of hosts or riders
- All legal responsibility for vehicle ownership, vehicle usage, and compliance with applicable laws remains with the respective users
22. Final Legal Position
- RideLoop operates strictly as a technology platform facilitating peer-to-peer bike access
- RideLoop does not provide transportation services
